Lessons

We offer group and individual lessons for paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing from our base at Somerset Boat Centre.

These sessions can be arranged on a one-on-one basis, as a small group, and with a combination of children and adults (min age of children 8yrs old).

Lessons are aimed towards;

Complete beginners, improvers or advanced

Learning basic skills to cool tricks

•

Have a board but would like more confidence

•

Fine-tuning your paddle skills

Our 1-hour lesson is fully supervised with an instructor and board for the full hour. You will learn the basics & water safety, giving you the best possible start to your experience. If you already have the basics we can help to improve your skills and throw in some tricks and tips to add to the fun. Paddles and buoyancy aids are provided.

Our fully qualified instructors will guide you through every step of the way, encouraging you and ensuring you learn the correct paddle technique. Its lots of fun.
