THE PEAKS Lichfield to Holmfirth
This route will take you through some of the very best of the Peak District and to two great swimming spots, the pool at Matlock and the pool at Hathersage. Along the way you’ll get to see Lichfield Cathedral, an impressive building that was, for a few hundred years, the tallest in the world.You'll pass through Matlock and Hathersage, giving you a chance to do two of the country's best outdoor swims.This route will also take you to a couple of the Peak District's best driving roads, Snake Pass and Woodhead Pass and past Derwent Reservoir and into some of the area's wildest country above Holmfirth.
