Cleeve Hill
a 1000 acre area of common land and SSSI that , at 330m above sea level, is the highest point in Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds.
Winchcombe Railway Museum.
A station on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway a 28 mile heritage railway that uses part of the route of the former Great Western Railway's main line from Birmingham to Cheltenham which used to run via Stratford-upon-Avon.
Stanway and Stanton
a couple of very typical and picturesque villages off the B4362. Stanway House and its huge 300ft fountain, are open in July and August, Tuesday and Thursday.
Broadway.
A once thriving staging post and inn town on the route from Worcester to Oxford and London. Now a chi chi destination with shops, eateries and hotels. Once home to artists and writers including William Morris, John Singer Sargent and J.M. Barrie.

A pair of very sweet villages with a mill and mill leat and ford. Narrow lanes and good photo ops but park sensibly, please. Upper Slaughter is tricky.
